Yep, it really worked amazingly well today. Much better than I would have expected. For the most part the videos had a very high framerate and good quality. Especially the high framerate makes the video much more livelike than Skype-Video.
Now let's hope that the integration of audio goes well, too.

And this analysis from the same blogger who made the comment that the 10-way conf call could only be on Intel Duos as it took to much CPU otherwise...

will skype use wigi as the video thing? I sure hope so. It really is a delight!

Wigi also called now vWho IS a delight.
Take care, you can be addicted as well.
Seems, Skype staff is addicted to Mogadon?
Hope they will do something good rhis time
and overhaul their complete video module.
It's a hogg in many suspects.
Go on Wigi!

Wigi sure beats Skype for video quality...
But not at "easy to use" (yet). It needs to mature and to get a REAL GUI, with a contact list and all. There are so many different versions of wigi and wigimultichat and desktop sharing and all...
I really hope it will be finished one day, or that Skype will dump the crappo video thing they have going on now and buy Wigi-codecs for their videoconferencing.

I agree with Fastjack and Bill Campbell - vwho (Wigi) is the far best I have seen.
I had excellent frame rate (28+ fps) and its fast and stable. Very good video quality also.

Hey Muppet!
Welcome back to SJ. Read first; then comment.
Or preface your comment with, "Gee, I didn't have time to read your post Mr Campbell, but here are my comments.." That way my readers will not get confussed by your valuable contributions.
A ten participant conference call (voice)requires a Dual Core Processor. A ten participant wigi video-only conference does not.
So there, I have said it again, "a ten person Skype Conference call requires a dual-core processor.
Grin. See you back here again soon... Bill
