IPEVO shows off USB handset and speakerphone for Skype

The Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas this week will be a hot bed of product announcement for Skype.

Stuart and Phil will be attending and keep us all posted on the the news out of the desert.

IPEVO will be showing off FLY 1 a USB Cordless handset along with Xing a USB Speakerphone. Both, of course, for either the Macintosh or Windows PC. You can see them at the eBay/Skype booth at South Hall 4.

Wow this is very nice andvery elegant, very innovative actually. I wanna get one someday just hope its a loew cost in my dreams lols.

The Yappernut folks have a very nice new device, something unusual: a mouse that doubles as a usb skype handset. They call it the Yappermouse. Their idea is that most laptop users probably carry an external mouse around, but don't want to bother with an external handset for skype. When you get a skype call, you just lift the mouse and hold the base against your ear, like a handset. Pretty neat idea, I don't think anyone else has come up with something that unique.
