• Rick on Google Talk goes Blogospherically Viral

  Excellent observation. I was thinking today how I haven't seen so much press coverage in technology. It made front page Dallas Morning New Business section. (How did they get it in today's paper?)

  To put it into perspective, 2 weeks ago Qualcomm acquired Flarion in a move that totally rocked the WBB industry. I dug and dug to get stories and information. That was a very big event with proabably 10% of today's coverage.

  Compare the Qualcomm coverage to today's Google Talk and we can see the tremendous impact of Voip/IM in today's technology world. I compare it to the internet 10 years ago. This truly is revolutionary.

  BTW, did you see the Intel news on Skype. They are working closely with Skype on their new processors. It was announced at Intel's Developer Conference today.
