What would you do with a "vote" button on Skype?

Imagine a vote button on Skype. It looks like this:

vote button: circle of blue with a white check mark

Programmers can do almost anything.

What would you want the button to do?

Go ahead, press it.

Imagine, and write about it.

» Live8 and Skype? from Gogelmogel
Phil at SkypeJournal has recently thrown a interesting thought about placing a simple Vote button inside Skype, asking what it can be useful for. Well, 4 days after watching Live8, I've been thinking: What could have been the numbers or [Read More]

Any "voting" content on big portals which is popular, is theroretically a candidate.

Yes, this also means "AmIHot" thingies, and general "Yes/No" polls.

But I wonder if you are thinking about "phone calls" rating feature?

Click to CALL would be the BEST feature for the ''vote''' feature where GOOGLE or YAHOO would connect you over the Skype network to customer service or a travel operator DIRECTLY without you having to even dial!

Well, how about voting on new features, which bug is next or even better: "Open up developement of Skype and make it open source?" (no need for a "no" button ;-) ). After all, it's all about sharing. Read that somewhere on their website... ;-)

Hey,

I'd like to have this button to tell "how good my last call was". So, after few calls I can see how much % of my calls was GOOD, BAD-LISTENING, IMPOSSIBLE or SATISFACTORY.

Eduardo,
I love this thought. It's such a simple way to say thank you to someone after a call. It's also something nice to do. After hanging up. Just a simple chat message. That was a great call thanks.

A call rating has been suggested on these pages before. It may make sense to only accept calls from those that have done more than x calls with a positive rating etc.

Thanks for visiting

Hi Eduardo,

I totally agree with Stuarts idea of using the button to rate a persons previous calls. This would sift out the more unsavoury people who use Skype and would be an extremely useful tool for women to accept calls with a higher level of confidence in that caller being genuine.
