Nice list, Phil. I'd also be happy with all this!
Foe me right now, the biggest issue I have with Skype voicemail is its alerting function.
While the little sys tray popup is great if you're at your PC, it's not much help if you're away and come back. Nothing there to let you know about the voicemail. The notification in the Skype app itself is just not prominent enough.
I'd like to see a dialog that comes on screen and stays there until you click something.
Otherwise, I think it's a great tool.

Hiya Phil,
Like this list, except for no. 17 - paying you for leaving a long message?
You're kiddin :) well maybe it can work with celebs voicemail, where u can charge punters for 0.5 $ if they want to send premium messages to Paris Hilton.
Another question is: would u like to lock your voice messages from being edited/manipulated by others?
What will happen when I take the message u mailed me, shift the pitch up, cut some sentences, and include in my comedy podcast?
Privacy seems to be a painful issue here.

what about the #13, 14 and 15 combined.
You get a mail, IM, SMS, or whatever, then you call your self from another skype account or from a cell phone (if you have a SkypeIN number).
Finaly you have the magic star '*' button that leads you to the admin menu (protected with a password) and then you retrieve your messages from a borrowed line(account) :D
