3. Lock out the supernode.
I'm still looking for a reliable method of preventing Supernode mode while still allowing fast file transfers. Anyone?

Simply restart Skype every day or so and you'll never become a super-node, with no side affects.
Of course, if everyone was this selfish, the entire Skype network would fall apart, because it needs super-nodes to run.
