Do you know if the call forwarding feature requires the client to be signed in? I like this feature in Jyve, but if I'm signed in, I'm likely at my computer and don't need call forwarding. The Skype FAQs are silent.

My impression so far:

Presence glitches - very annoying. For quite a long time I saw only 5 people in my list online (that's from 50+ contacts). It is essentialy a "show stopper" bug.

UI tiny tweaks - the new "call" "hang up" buttons are nice.

Tools menu - too much menu item. I expect enhancing the icons bars/UI will follow soon.

Call forwarding - it's about time! much needed. But I'd like to set up forwarding options per contact. when X calls me, it's not that important to forward him to me cell. When Y calls me, forward all the time.
Otherwise, I consider this as an unfair leech of my skypeout credits.

From Skype FAQs:

Will my calls be forwarded even when my computer is turned off?

Yes, once you've set up call forwarding you will be able to forward calls even if your computer is turned off and you are logged out of Skype.

I really like the call forwarding feature, it is overdue since SkypeOut introduction. There is only one problem in the presence indication of my status with other buddies: they have no indication that I still can be reached by call forwarding, so they do not consider calling me. A similar indication such as the one for the voice-box is required to show others that CF is on.

Skype is obviously reacting very fast: today forwarded users show up in orange! with a small
sub-icon like the vioce-mail. Thanks

Just another small nit: is there anywhere a help description what all these small icons mean?

Free Call Forwarding? That's not what Skype.com is saying!
