Well, the milestones list just tickled my "let's play some guessing games" neurons, so here are quick follow ups:
- IPO - perhaps also M&A's, or a takeover? My most wild guess is "Apple takeovers Skype". Sounds almost ridicule eh? but the applers are now very much in the media & entertainment biz. And they always liked to be associated with coolest and trendy products. iChat will remain.
10m concurrent users - Half of this (5m)or more will be achieved by this year end.

And what about the figures now? How many software engineers are working on the applications? I still see google as the most pref M&A partner. What a great company.

How are the 10 billion minutes calculated? Since Skype is peer to peer I didn't think it would record who contacted who for how long.

The number of downloads is impressive, however, it's probably mainly a result of the missing update feature. You cannot update Skype but have to download the new versions again and again and again...
