Skype Journal: Blogs on Skype Today
April 8, 2005 03:54 PMAs Robert and Shel noted big and small blogs everyday embrace Skype.
You really have nothing to lose. Download the free software, encourage friends and family to do the same, and then talk with each other as if you're all located at the same place. LockergnomeWant to be on the "Late Night with Mr. X & Just Julie" podcast tonight (Friday)? If you notice me on Skype, send me a note and I will try to Skype you into the show--my Skype name is "ifthensoftware" and I usually try to do shows from 9:30PM to about 11:30PM Eastern time a few times a week. I may have mentioned this before, but if you are ever interested in communicating with me by instant message, please get Skype. Not only is the voice calling encrypted, but so is everything else. Today also featured a skype call with Christina to demonstrate that integration. Overall I'm really jazzed! Adam Curry's Weblog

Thanks for the mention of us using Skype on our show (Late Night with Mr. X & Just Julie). We do use Skype on each and every show, and I even use SkypeOut to make the...well...less-than-real phone calls to unsuspecting marks out there...Anyway, I love this blog, have been subscribing for awhile (that's how I caught my name!). If you all haven't used Skype, get it--it's well worth the price (free). Now if they would only turn on voicemail for the Mac users out here...
