Peter Kalmstrom has been developing plug-ins for Microsoft Outlook for a long time. Now he too has created a solution to integrate Skype into your contact list.

The next big thing in the IT world is telephony and voice. There will be a lot of interesting developments in this area in the years to come. One of those developments is already here: Skype. It is a peer-to-peer network based IP Telephony application. I like it a lot and decided to build an Outlook add-in for it. Outlook Skype

You may have to wait for the Mac API to be released. I'm sure it is not too far away. Searching "Entourage" in the Skype Forum.

While it doesn't import them, Jon's Phone Tool can dial directly from Entourage to Skype. This is just a small bit of what Jon's Phone Tool does. Check it out:

I tried outlook and it only goes to the contact folder under your .pst file. Outlook users can still use the Outlook address book a .pab file and your software can't find or doesn't look in it to get names when you don't use Outlook contacts which has more junk in it than I need.

any possibility of linking in outlook's .pab personal phone book?
