US$Billions for Broadband
The US plans to spend $7.2 billion over the next 18 months for a broadband buildout. Faster, better, more, and net neutral broadband makes Skype better, so this should be good for Skype. Next steps: congressional conference committee combines House and Senate versions then sends the bill to President Obama, maybe by Monday.
